JUMP (Junior Umpires Mentoring Program)

HPHC will be running JUMP for students Year 9 and above on Saturday mornings at LEP where we will teach you how to umpire junor games. No previous experience is necessary. Students just need a desire to learn more about the game and be dedicated. This is a very popular program, with mentoring provided by senior umpires each week. Trevor Thomas is co-ordinating the JUMP Umpires program again this season.

Club Umpires

Club Umpires are required for Youth and Senior Division games each week. Previous umpiring experience is not required, however, a good understanding of the game would be an advantage. Full training and support will be provided. An allowance is paid by Auckland Hockey Association for each game umpired.
